I know it's early, but any ideas for New Year's Eve?
I was thinking about going away (some where driveable) and everything I look up is already sold out!  Any ideas?

There are rumors that Billy Joel is going to be playing Nassau Colisseum. If that ends up being true, I really want to go, as long as tix aren't astronomically $$$$.

We have dinner in the city with two other couples then go back to our friends apartment for dessert and to toast in the New Year.

Every year since we met we do a B&B in New Hampshire. It's relaxing & they have a nice party at the local lounge in town and we ski or snowmobile or go tubing the next day....

We had a small party at the house last year and since it will be our first New years with the baby, we will probably have people over again. I hope my baby is a good sleeper, because I know we can get loud!

we're going to mystic. staying at the house of 1833 from talking to the owner it sounds like they have quite a night of it there.of course it is right near foxwoods and all that.... hoping it will be fun.

I was starting to look for a place to go as well. DH's birthday is Jan 1 and mine is Jan 2 so I thought we would do a mini getaway. But like you said all the places I have been checking are booked. Let me know if you find anything.

I've been wanting to go for several years now. The people that work there always try to talk me into it. This year I was able to pull off getting the time off!
