I know it's silly but I am upset

We had Sasha's photo shoot this morning, and she is normally a happy, lovely baby in the morning-- between naps of course.

She was miserable this morning. And she has a bad case of stranger anxiety so that didn't help matters.

I feel like it was such a waste of money, despite the fact that it was something that I was so looking forward to-- and it was so not fun.

My boys weren't their normal happy selves during our shoot too, and although we didn't get any "smiley" photos they still came out great!

Would the photographer be willing to reschedule since today didn't work out?

Believe me, I feel your pain. We had a shoot with LoriMarie the other week and DD barely even looked at the camera-- and she wasn't even in a bad mood really, she was just busy with other things and didn't want to humor us

But, my kid rarely smiles on film...so I don't expect much anyway. She smiles all the time, until I take out the camera. Ah, such is life over here

DS does the same thing! he is the happiest, funniest baby, but he was so miserable for out photo shoot. we barely got him to smile, let alone laugh!

i am hoping the next one is better!

I'm sorry. This happened to us when we brought our DD for the first time. It was miserable. But they managed to get a few good shots. I'm sure your photographer did too! GL!

I'm sorry but hope you get good photos. We've been trying to get ours in. It's been cancelled 4x (2x due to the weather and 2x due to the photographer)...we're going on 6 weeks of cancellations and I'm so upset. I know there are bigger things in the world to be upset about I know how things like this matter when you love your DD so much. We've never had pictures done of her.

Well, time will tell-- I didn't expect her to be a delight the whole time-- but maybe for 30 mins??

Then I gotta like how I look-- that's a whole other issue.

when DD was young she used to do this to me all of the time. Shes much better now that shes older.

I hope you got some good shots anyway

A lot of times moms are discouraged thinking the photographer didn't get any good shots but are surprised at some of the shoots they do get.

During the DebG shoots, I think it happened alot.

Aw, don't worry. This happens all the time with DD (who is now almost 2) and they always get some great shots in between the fussing and crying

same thing happened with our photo shoot today, normally DD is smiling up a storm, today we were lucky to get 1 out of her but we got some good pictures and im sure you did too

when my kids were little, they were a nightmare to take pics of. but when i look back at the pics i love them and some of the ones i didn't like back then i'm in love with now. just try again in the fall. new outfits and maybe it will be better!!!
