I know this may sound silly because its a fish, but
I saved his life....
I got this goldfish for my DD with a little mermaid tank. A week or so after getting him he got Ich. It was getting really bad. I had told the girls at work about it and they said to just flush him because he was suffering and that medicine couldnt really help him.
I didnt listen and went to the store and bought the medicine for him and within 2 days the white spots on him went away and he is no longer sitting at teh bottom of his tank.
I guess I am sentimental about him because I bought him for my DD and I didnt want her to be sad because he would die.
Im so happy that I saved him and didnt listen to anyone.
Geo is alive and well now. (he is named after Geo from Team Umizoomi...DD loves him)

Not silly at all, I have felt that way about goldfish before. I used to keep Ryukin Fantail goldfish and battled Ich too. And Swim Bladder. In my experience, it was all about the water quality, because they poop so much and dirty up the water.
