I lost my debit card
I had it yesterday at the bank. I only went 2 places after that. can't find it.
It hasn't been used either. I'm trying to avoid having to get another card.
I have Chase. If I get another card, do I have to open a whole other account? Or will they just cancel the card and issue me a new one?

Cancel your card and issue you a new one. You will most likely have to wait for the new card though. Commerce prints the visa ones right away

If you haven't done so already, call the 1800 for chase and report a stolen card (its not really stolen i know, but lost.) That way they will deactivate the old card and be alerted in case anyone tries to use it. In the meanwhile they'll send you out a new card (but it will have a new 16 digit number on the front but is still linked to your old checking account)

Check to make sure the lining of your purse isn't ripped. That was where I found mine 4 weeks after I thought it was lost. But yes, they just issue a new card- no biggie.
