I love my doctor
Tonight was my 24 week appt and 1 hour glucose test. Everything looks great. I gained another 6 lbs this month but he didn't say anything. BP was 120/60 and he said "Your insurance won't cover any more sonos for you here but heres a Rx for you to get one elsewhere."  So I get to have another one in a few weeks. He's so wonderful! Thanks melijane!

I am so glad it worked out for you. I love them both! I have to write him a letter and tell him my news since I've moved. I'm sure he'll be happy for me. I swear he is like a Dr from the old days-he actually cares!

thats great!!!
i was wondering do you always get your glucose test around week 24. i go for my appt next week 25 weeks...and doc never said anything..do i need to do anything to prepare??

Well I didn't have to fast or anything but you might want to call them and ask if you are getting it done soon. You have to drink and then wait an hour and they take your blood. My dr let me drink it at home and come in an hour after I drank it.
