I have these in the crockpot right now! This is my first time ever using a crockpot. I used Sweet Baby Rays Sweet&Spicy sauce and added some chili powder too...we like spicy. Hope they come out good!

Thanks! Mine are in the crock pot now. I doubled the recipe so DH would have leftovers to take for lunch. I'm making grilled corn and red mashed potatoes with it.

Re: I made incredible slow cooker ribs last night...here is recipe!
Thanks so much for this ! I tweeked it as follows. DH ate the plate too is was so good ! I did the marinate overnight in a crockpot liner bag, & then put the entire thing in the CP the next day. Cooked for 2hr high then 4hrs low
2 cups bbq sauce (jack daniels BBQ), 1 cup ketchup 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, salt & pepper 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 large onion, sliced into slivers 1/2 pack Lipton Onion soup mix I teaspoon liquid smoke 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper + dash of red pepper flakes 1/2 cup chili sauce
Mix sauce well and pour over ribs. Turn ribs to coat. Cut ribs in half to fit in crock pot. I added to Marinate overnight

I've made these twice now (once yesterday for company) and both times they've been a huge hit. Great recipe and soooo easy, thanks for posting!

Re: I made incredible slow cooker ribs last night...here is recipe!
I havent seen this thread in years! I stumbled upon this recipe back when it was first posted of this board years ago and it's become a staple in our house. I STILL make it to this day and some of our guy friends will even request it when they come over for dinner.
Hands down, best rib recipe EVER. They literally just fall off the bone and the sauce is to die for. I like to make them with corn on the cob and garlic and chive mashed potatoes.

Re: I made incredible slow cooker ribs last night...here is recipe!
This thread is making my mouth water-I haven't had ribs in a while! I usually slow cook them in the crock pot for 8 hours in jarred bbq sauce, then carefully remove them and finish them off on the grill to get them brown and crispy!

Just made them this weekend. I omitted the oven part. i used the slow cooker only. I used 2.5 pounds of ribs. they were done to perfection in a little over 4 hours!!

Did you cook them on low or high? I'm going to make this and only use the slow cooker.

Low. I saw the original poster said they were done in 5.5 hours. So around 4 hours i started checking mine and sure enough they were practically done. I cooked them exactly 4.5 hours, then set them to warm until we were ready to eat them. They were perfect!
