I miss L town but I sure do luv N. Massapequa!
Any recommendations for places to eat, drink, hang? My boyfriend is moving from Poughkeepsie soon and want to know some hot spots.

I agree with GTO and Buteras. Also a great bagel shop is the one next to the high school on Merrick Road. Makes the best BLTs!

Butera's is great. There is also a great restaurant I used to go to all the time, but the name is escaping me.
It had a nautical theme. Free wine at the table. Captain's something?
Grrrr...it's going to bug me now.

For cheap eats go to Giovanni's on Merrick Road on Wednesday nights. It's pasta night. I think it is $8 or $9 for salad, pasta, coffe and cheesecake. They have a whole menu of different types of pastas with all sorts of sauces. Very yummy.
I think they also do Chicken night on Monday or Tuesday nights.

My friend was a health inspector and the only place she would order chinese food from is Chung Mei next to St. Rose of Lima on Merrick Road. The only problem is that they don't deliver.
Phils pizza is really good.
I've never been, but everyone raves about Thai Show (Japanese) on Merrick Road.
