To the OP, I want to send you  .
I know exactly how you feel. My DD had been an etremely difficult child since about 2 years old.
I have been to my Ped a million times for advice- with no help at all. I have read a million books and tried a billion techniques. I recently got her evaluated through the school district, and will be getting services.
I have been soo upset, between blaming myself and trying to get a handle on things.
For me, it's one thing to be having trouble with your child, but when someone else sees it, and puts a name to the behavior, for some reason, it's more devastating. I am trying to focus on solutions, and stop blaming myself.
I am thinking about joining a parent support group, maybe your district can suggest one for you.
