No way would I continue with this house.
Your inspector found things wrong and that is only scratching the surface.
Talk to your lawyer and pull the offer.
This is way more headache than you even know.
We can't just tell them we are walking away because the home inspection was bad?? oh no!!!! They recieved a 3 page summary of it. the roprt was over 30 pages!
you haven't signed a contract, you definitely don't need to contact your lawyer. just walk

Agreed. You did not sign a contract. The inspection report is bad, you can just tell his agent that given the report, you are no longer interested in this property. co is a major point on your side to walk away. No being to code also.

Esp. if they won;t fix everything.
We got a lot of stuff fixed but not all. Not enough, but our seller was a jerk who drug his feet on everything.
The house looks god on the outside, but there are so many little things when you look close.
I THINK all appliances need to work - I know the dishwasher didn't and the water to the fridge didn't and he had to fix those.
It seems like this house is way worse than ours was - we only had 1 inspection.
I would walk away.
