Girls----thank you so much for your thoughts and sticky dust. I went to the doctor this morning, and there is still no heartbeat. HOWEVER, there is a yolk and a fetal pole that were not there on Monday!
So, there is definitely some action going on in there. The doctor said that I am 6 weeks, 4 days. he said it could go either way, and I need to stop thinking so much b/c at this point it really is out of our control. I will go back again on Tuesday, and at that time we will know for sure. Hopefull then, we will see a heartbeat. Do you think it is still a good sign that we saw the growth of a fetal pole and a yolk sak in just 3 days? I think so. I have to keep hoping. Please keep sending me sticky dust. its helping my head. I have so many emotions right now plus all the hormones.... Thanks everyone  
it seems like you just had a late implanter. as long as the baby is growing, i would be hopeful. keep us updated, i know this isn't easy

That's a very good sign! I had my first sono at 5w2d and there was just a sac, 2 days later there were 2 sacs with fetal pole and yolk sac. You'll be surprised how fast these little ones grow!

I would take it as a very good sign that your little one is continuing to grow. Stay positive (as hard as that is) and you have all my prayres!!!

Stay positive... Drs couldnt hear my  until my 8w4d appt. I'm now 32 weeks and she's doing great... Good luck!!!

I think it's a great sign that the pole is there now!! Keep on hoping and try not to stress. I know it's easier said than done.

As some of you know, I posted on Monday very upset b/c there was no heartbeat at my first sono. I concieved somewhere between July 21-July 24th.
The doctor reassured me that it was too soon to see the hb, and I would need to come back in a week. I have to travel next week, so I asked to switch the appt. They said Yes. While on the phone with the nurse, I asked her to look at my chart, and explained my concerns about the heartbeat.
She said while it may be too early to see the HB, my HCG levels did not look too good, and I shouldn't get my hopes up. She said she does not think it is a viable pregnancy b/c in 4 days, my levels only went from 2937 to 6,300....and they should be doubling every 48 hours and they are not.
I am hysterical right now. Let's pray that the doctor and the first nurse, who said it was too soon, were right. I'm going for more blood work and a sono tomorrow morning.

When I got pregnant with DS I had the exact same thing happen to me...
I also had extremely low progestrone on top of it...

hang in there I am that everything will work out ok for you i know how frustrating this all can be good luck and keep us updated but just keep in mind that that lil bugger could be a late implanter
