His doctor called me yesterday to tell me that some levels in his liver are high and that the liver is not looking good. On Wednesday we'll have to go see a specialist and do tests and discuss options. The doctor did say that we may be looking at the possibility of him needing a liver transplant. So we may be talking about putting him on a list. I don't know for sure yet what is going to happen. We have to go see the specialist. I am really worried right now. The liver being in bad shape is not a good thing.
Last year he was diagnosed with Hepatitis A & C. But they said that he was going to be fine and should still live a normal life. I was always concerned about this because I read that Hepatitis C attacks the liver causing liver cancer. I'm not saying he has liver cancer. I guess we'll be doing tests and stuff.
I'm scared and worried. I have so many thoughts running through my mind right now.
Oh and top of everything else my MIL called us last night to tell us that one of DH's nephews broke his leg in 2 places yesterday at school. He's ok Thank God. He's got a cast on and is even home from the hospital.
What stinks is that they are planning on going to Italy in July but as of right now it looks like the trip will have to be cancelled. The doctor told me that he recommends them not go. I'm guessing the specialist will say the same. It's so unfair because last year they had to cancel it cuz my dad was not feeling well. Now they were looking forward to going and it looks like they won't be going...
