I need the good, the bad and the ugly...
on Dr. Kenigsberg.
We've finally made the decision that we need to kick this up a notch and get more aggressive. I called LI-IVF, and have an appointment scheduled with him on June 29th.
What do I need to prepare? Any words of advise? Tell me everything!

I go to that practice, but see a different doctor.
I've heard only great things about Dr. K.

He was my doctor and I have nothing but good things to say about him.
He has a sense of humor, he is very knowledgeable, was very receptive to my wants/concerns. AND he got me pregnant!

I found him to be really unreceptive to questions I asked at my retrieval and transfer. He replied, "I don't know" and "that is a long conversation" to questions that he knew the answer to but didn't want to share. It really turned me off.

I personally, could not love him more. He got me PG twice and when I hyperstimmed he met me at the hospital at 2 a.m.
He is not the most personable Dr. I've ever met. He is very to the point and will not coddle you...but he gets the job done.
Good luck with him...I hope you have success!!!!

I think it depends on your issues. I've never met him personally but have met other Drs there. I did not choose them-but its totally personal

another Dr. K fan here
I was very happy with Dr. K and my treatment with LI-IVF (I went to Lake Success for monitoring with procedures at Melville)
I became a patient of Dr. K after either consultations or treatment at NYU, New Hope, Cornell, SIRM and Columbia

I just had my first meeting with him on Monday at the Melville office. (I used a different practice when I conceived my DD). I really liked him. He discussed all options with us and listened to what we wanted. And everyone at the office was very pleasant.

I am a LI IVF success story. Dr. Brenner was my RE but Dr. K did my egg retrieval. He seemed nice enough, got 20 eggs from me and I did get PG on my first IVF attempt. Best of luck!
