I NEED TO SCREAM!
It is 7 and I am still at work!!! Our car has been delayed and its reaching 3 hrs late!!!! I might as well sleep here, Im just soooo annoyed, and Im starving and then once the car does get here it will most likely be 3 hrs till i get home : ( omg I want to kill someone

That does stink! Are you sharing the car with people? Maybe you can all agree to stop somewhere quick and grab food to eat on the way home?

Judging by the traffic I saw walking over to my bar in Times Square from the 59st bridge... you will have a long drive.
The traffic approaching the bridge is a mess, and if you are on the west side... its going to take some time.
Might as well take a valium now and enjoy the high (er... I mean ride).

I went home last night at 10 via car and once we got on the upper level of the 59th St. Bridge there was no traffic. DJ- you shoul dbe OK.

so I just got home..my car never showed and I hailed a yellow cab and started crying for the cabbie to take me to queens cause every cabbie said no go to queens.. i spent 50 bucks and have no idea if my job will pay me back.. this was the day from hell, i hope this strike ends soon

Interesting.... I was wondering if cabbies would refuse to take people to queens. Now I know.
You might get a better chance of getting a cab to queens if you try to hail a cab around 58st and 2nd avenue. All the cabs going to queens would most likely pass that intersection.
Hop on one of the cabs that are about to head over to the bridge. Might be better.
$50 buks sounds like they gouged the price. You would need to cross like seven zones at that price.

yup almost every cabbie said no way to queens, one guy told me it just took him 3 hrs to get from queens to the city and he sure as hell aint going back.. at that point i would have paid 100 bucks to go home, i was freezing and alone and i was just happy to be in a warm cab--even tho it was kinda smelly
