I need your help - 5 month old only eats at night!!
Since going back to work, my DD has gone on what I think is a hunger strike. She will eat maybe 5 oz during the day and waits for me to come home around 3-3:30. After that, she is ravenous and eats all night long. Last night was the worst. She was up a record number of times, more than when she was a newborn!!
She ate at 6:30, 8:30, 11:30, 1:30, 3:30 and 6:30
I am beyond exhausted and need to figure out a way to get her to understand that eating is for the daytime
She is on cereal and fruit and that has only seemed to make it worse
Can someone help me, I am so completely exhausted and confused as to what to do. I know it is too early for CIO but I have no other ideas at this point.

How long have you been back at work? How old is she? Could be just an adjustment period and/or a growth spurt.

I have been back 5 days, now on break (I work in a school). She will be 5 months on Monday).
Maybe a growth spurt? I hope!!!

Re: I need your help - 5 month old only eats at night!!
I would stop the food and just offer the formula so that she drinks more during the day and then reintroduce the food. My DS didn't get up all night, but didn't drink much during the day when I introduced formula at 4 months. I stopped so he'd start drinking again and then started it again recently at 5 months. Good luck and hope you can get some
