I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
as well as the nurse that I spoke to on the way out. The one from Dr. Braverman basically just giving me more info and asking if I had any questions. The one from the nurse just letting me know she is available if I have any questions at any point. Are they always this helpful? I feel like it's a script or something... I dunno... The customer service is nothing like I've ever experienced from a dr's office before...

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
OK I am just going to give you one example that sticks in my mind the most because its the most recent.. I received a very bad report from my AFP testing (mind you I am not seeing him any more I was released at 9w) I was 16w at the time.. I callled him after I got the report in the westchester office.. He advised me to have the amnio and if it was his own wife he would tell her the same.. So he called me up later that day, the next day and the day after that (before results were in)too talk reason into my head.. I was a mess for 2 days... I got the report back on the 2nd night at 6:39 pm that everything was ok.. My dr e mailed him at that time to tell him the good news.. At 10:30 pm I get a call at my house from Dr B singing "here comes the sun" Now what dr does that??? I am not even even his patient anymore? Thats just ONE example.. I do have more let me know if you want to hear them... The best part in all of this is that he is an excellent infertility specialist.. If he sucked than all of this extra suff wuldnt matter.. He found out my issues and got me pregnant at 43 yrs old!!! He is ahead of his time.. I also am seeing a high risk specialist called Dr Kofinas who is one of the best there is.. He also considers him top of the line..

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
This is really the norm for him and his office. They are all so approachable, so helpful and genuinely caring. It's just such a different vibe from other places. I know, regardless of my outcome there, that I am receiving the best care possible. It's not an act they put on. They really do care.

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
I, too, have had NOTHING but an amazing experience w/ Dr. Braverman. He is seriously second to none. He treats every patient as if they are his only one. He always remembers your name, always remembers your face... his office makes you feel as though you are one big family. He released me at 10 weeks and gave me a HUGE hug. He STILL emails me on a biweekly basis to check in and see how I am feeling. LOVE HIM and his staff!!!

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
Please always remember there are 2 sides to a story as well.. And I am sure at any practice you can always find someone who has had a bad experience.. Go by your own experiences and gut.. Just like with friends.. I cant judge a person on someone elses relationship.. I must make my own judgment on that person..

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
I completely agree. Many on here would say they had poor experiences with East Coast Fertility- hey I might have said it myself- until they helped me to get my miracles. So it is all very subjective. But if people are looking for opinions Ive got a pretty strong one, I just dont think the story is appropriate for public forum.

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
yes its true you have every right to share your negative experience as much as I am my postitve ones.. And if I was the pp I would want to hear both.. Especially if I was having a difficult time deciding.. Kudos to you for being descrete and not posting it publicly.. I can only go by my own wonderful experience even before I got pregnant.. I do remember some of your story way back when we fm'd.. I dont remember exactly what happened but I remember you were upset..

Most importantly I am glad that we have both found success, though in different places. At the end of the day thats what counts!

Re: I received both an email from Dr. Braverman
So true....it's all about where you find success.
It's funny b/c Dr. Kriener was my hero and will always be responsible for bringing my most precious gift into this world - my 18 month old daughter. However, my second experience w/ him was SO AWFUL that I wouldn't even post the story on here - not even on FM.
Everyone needs to hear the positives and the negatives of every doctor and then go w/ where they are most comfortable. This IF journey is so horribly emotional that each individual needs to feel they are getting the best treatment.
Good Luck to all!!

I couldn't agree more with this...when anyone asks for recommendations, I always say that people will recommend the RE who got them PG.
