i slipped really bad on the ice tonight & im nervous
i was going to visit my grandparents and as i was crossing the street i fell. the asphalt was covered in ice and i didnt even notice. i was walking slowly anyway bc i always get nervous walking on icy/snowy streets, but when i fell on my back, i cant remember the last time i fell like this, my legs went up in the air, i didnt hit my head, but i fell on my back/butt bone and my back & i was laying completely flat in the middle of the street. i just got so nervous and i started bawling like a baby. i went inside my granparents house and they're like what happened, i told them and they said dont worry its going to be ok.
im just soooo scared right.
i know a couple of ladies fell last week, what did you do?
it hurts when i bend down (like to pick something up) i think i bruised that back/butt bone bc it kinda hurts when i sit.
my stomach or the front doesnt hurt or i dont have any cramping. should i be concerned?
im scheduled for my 11 week visit on monday, but im thinking about calling my doc tomorrow anyway.

I am sure you are fine, but I would call the doctor anyway to put your mind at ease. I called my doctor when I fell and it definitely helped me. They even checked me out to be sure.

I just fell on Monday and while my stomache nevr touched the ground, my doc advised me to go to the hospital and be monitored. Hope you feel ok

I've fallen three (yes three) times since being pregnant. The first time was around 18 weeks, then again around 23 weeks, and again a few weeks ago. Everything has been fine as far as I know. That baby is very well protected. That being said, my doctor said that earlier on in the pregnancy, if I fall, I should schedule an immediate sono or go to the local emergency room for one. I didn't realize that for the first fall, but did that for the second (and by far, roughest) fall.
I'm sure everything is fine.

so its ok if i call him tomorrow morning, or should i call now? but when i call now they just connect you if you're in labor or if its an emergency. do you think this is an emergency or can i wait till tomorrow morning?

I tend to wait on things, even when other people don't. However, if you're concerned, then this is an emergency. I called the emergency service once during my pregnancy for something that didn't end up being one, but I couldn't have known that. I think taking a fall like you did warrants a call.

thanks i just called, i thought id be speakign with an answering machine but they had an emergency person there and one of the doctors is on call so they said 20 minutes i should hear from her.
feel better already that i called

she just called me and asked if i fell on my stomach, if i had any cramping or spotting, i said no.
she said if i want i can come in tomorrow or fri but i told her i have an appt for monday anyway so she said ill be fine. and to call if there is any cramping or bleeding.

I am so sorry this happened to you. This is one of my biggest fears during the winter. Lukily you fell on your butt and not on your belly. I am sure things are fine but you might want to go in for a quick heartbeat check if it will make you feel better. Sorry again!

Ohhh I'm so sorry you fell! Small trip or big fall it is always so upsetting. I am sure your little baby will be fine, but maybe call the doctor in the morning to give yourself some reassurance. Feel better

i would definitely call
i fell when i was 29 weeks pregnant and they had me on the fetal monitor for 3 hours at the hospital just to check everything
you can never be too cautious

On my DUE date!!! 
I tumbled like Violet in Charlie and the Chocolate factory. All I needed was an oompa loompa and the scene would have been perfect.
My kid can be a brat sometimes, could have been the fall. Could be genetics. Jury is still out!
