I would be a little worried as well.. I would def take measures to find out HOW he got your info.. asking him if you can.. and thn if you still get that feeling, maybe you should call the PO

You should def call the post office and speak with a supervisor. You don't even have to identify yourself or say where you live if you don't want to unnecessarily get the mail man in trouble. You can just ask the supervisor how he would have gotten this info.
Better to be safe than sorry.

like some others have said, next time you see him i would just ask flat out how he knew...
i would think it's a tad strange, but don't know if i'd be totally creeped out by it. perhaps while in the post office he saw the stack of applications in plain view and took a peek once he saw your address? at work plenty of paperwork used to pass through my hands and i would "know" things people never told me.
if you're truly concerned, i'd ask him and then follow up with the post office to understand how personal information is flying around...

i wouldn't worry too much about it. either confront him or call the post office. he seems a little over friendly and nosey but IMO not classified as stalking.
