I think i have "baby fever"

Latley all i think about is getting PG. There is no way that can happen now. We wanna be married for ahile, we live in a co-op and wanna get another year out of it before selling to buy a house, and we have 2 HUGE trips planned (Alaska this summer and Paris in Feb) and most importantly, DH isnt ready.

I think you mentioned this once before...if DH isn't ready, I'd suggest waiting til you are both on the same page. It also can't be a fleeting feeling, I would imagine. I think there's a difference between baby fever--seeing babies and feeling a rush--and just really being on board and taking all the steps to get yourself ready. I don't know..I am making no sense right now! But it sounds like you guys have some time and by the way, all your plans sound fabulous...I'm jealous!

I'm like that too...but I also know that DH isnt ready and we've decided we will re-examine the situation again a year from now

I get that way whenever someone new announces they're pregnant. I go through cycles.

I get that way once in a while. Usually a day with my 3-year old nephew or DH's 8 & 10 year old brother and sister cure me, for a little while at least. I love 'em, but they are EXHAUSTING.

I've been thinking about it alot lately and unfortuantely I have to wait to get tenure before trying. By the time I have my first I'll be 33 or 34.

Im with you! DH and i sooooooooo want to have a baby right now, we talk about it all the time and we talk about baby names that we like. but the timing is just not right. i know that God will bless us when we he thinks its time, but right now is just not that time! im building a company from scratch, we're still saving for a nice downpayment on a house, and DH's seniority is not high enough yet to be able to be home when we have a baby! i want to wait another 2 years, but i dont know if i can wait that long! ...my name is Emily, and i have baby fever!!!

I already have a daughter and still get baby fever sometimes. We want to wait a bit longer before having our second, but sometimes I just want to start trying RIGHT now.

One thing I do have to say ---- is that we didn't plan on getting pregnant when we did. It was wayyyy earlier then we thought it would ever happen. And certainly things aren't perfect. We don't own a house. I still have a year left on my Master's degree...

but when it's all said and done, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I had it for awhile!!! I tried to forget about it and realized it just isn't the right time.
