I think my milk duct is clogged!! What do I do?
Whatever is going on hurts so bad!!!! The pain is going underneath my arm. I can't even wear a bra it hurts so bad
What can I do? Heat compress?

Do you have a pump? If so, pump pump pump! THe best thing to do with a cloged duct is to continue feeding/pumping. If you don't pump, make sure you feed baby on that side next time. Before the feeding, massage the area and take a hot shower. That should do the trick...

Just be careful it doesnt get infected. What for a fever. My mom got an infection and she got VERY sick.

Also try to massage in front of the lump if it hurts too much making your way towards your nipple. It kinda clears the way for the plug to come out. I have also heard nursing on all fours with the help of gravity can help it out.
I have become a master at plugged ducts, I get one at least once a week!
watch for a fever, and flu like symptoms (achiness, chills) a plugged duct can turn into mastistis.

hot showers and massaging...I pumped for a long time and put hot washclothes under my arm...my milk backed up so that I had a golf ball hanging from my armpit!!!!!! pumping works, but be warned for the rest of the time I fed, my left boob was bigger!!

I actually took a pin and popped it..I know, I know but I couldn't stand it anymore. It felt sooo much better when that was released.
