Ideas for day trip to NYC
We're upstate, my cousin is visiting from out of town and we're going to nyc for the day tomorrow.
Originally I thought we'd go to MoMa because he's a graphic design major in college and I thought he'd like the museum, but its closed Tuesdays!
I don't see any shows that look ok during the DAY on a Tuesday....
Any other suggestions?

Circle Line around the city. They have a 3 hour, and I believe a shorter trip as well.
Times Square There's a GREAT pizza place in the village on Bleeker - Johns Pizzeria Empire State Building

The wax museum is pretty cool and from there you can walk in times square.

I live here and have always wanted to do that Big Apple Tour Bus...it stops all around NYC and you can get on and off.

There are plenty of other museums - like the Museum of Arts and Design in Columbus Circle.

Re: Ideas for day trip to NYC
Thanks for the ideas....(Circle line is closed in Jan)
I'm thinking of the Museum of Nat History, we were going to walk around Times Square anyways, my DH and I love this sushi place (I think its called "east" in the upper east or west side, can't remember), but is there anything closer to times square that someone recommends?
Any other suggestions?

DO NOT go to the statue of liberty unless you're willing to wait in line for hours to just get on the boat! my coworkers and i watch the line and laugh of the people all day long we're mean, i know.

Re: Ideas for day trip to NYC
I love the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I think it is open.
Do you guys ice skate? Bryant Park is great for that! It is not too far from Times Square.
There are quite a few museums on Museum Mile (5th and the 80's)
