Ideas for shower venues that are not too pricey-Port Jefferson area
Asking for my mommy. She wanted to know if I had any ideas and I am drawing a blank. She checked out the Meadow Club and they wanted 30/pp, which is more than she wants to spend. I think she is calling East Wind as well. I am thinking it will be between 35-50 people. TIA!

Sunday Brunch at Lombardi's on the Sound is 27.95 ++ but they require a minimum of 50 for the private room.
We just booked The Riverview for my sister's shower. We are doing a Sunday Brunch ($26.95 ++ per person).
I just called a million places for my sisters, but all on the South Shore.

I would recommend where I had my shower but it will not hold that many people. My mother did alot of shopping around because she was very adament that she did not want to spend more than a certain amount per person ($20 p/p) and if we hadnt found the little place we did, my shower would have been at J&R Steakhouse (very reasonable) or Tangerine Chinese (even more reasonable still).

I just called yesterday after searcing on here and the luncheon at J&R's is only $13.99 per person for 4 hours, with salad, bread, coffee and tea, a cake, and choice of 3 entrees. I'm not sure how great the party room is though. Sounds to good to be true. I want to go see each of their locations.

what about ruvo in port jeff? My friend had her bridal shower there and it was very nice and food was good. I believe they are resonably priced.

We actually had a GTG of the Parenting Mommies last Christmas at the Stony Brook one.
The party room is nothing special, BUT you can totally decorate it and the food is delish.

Try calling Carnival. Its an italian pizzeria/restaurant on 347. They might do showers.
Check into Pasta Pasta in the village as well. DOnt know what they charge or if they do showers.

I mentioned both Carnival and Pasta Pasta to my mother. She thinks Pasta Pasta will be too pricey, but she is considering Carnival.
I will mention J&R's to her!
