If I make a pasta salad tonight...
...will it be mushy for tomorrow?
Should I not add the dressing until tomorrow? Or should I add the dressing tonight so the flavor gets absorbed into the pasta?

If I make a pasta salad tonight...
make it now! let it marinate overnight and it won't be mushy...if anything, you may have to add a bit more vinegar in it tomorrow, as it dries out quickly
I make pasta salad all the time.......I'm a pro.  Marinating it overnight makes a world of difference!
don't forget the parm cheese!!

If I make a pasta salad tonight...
Add the dressing now -- you might need to add more tomorrow since it absorbs, but it will not make the pasta salad mushy!!! Just make sure to run the pasta under cold water to stop the cooking!

It will be better the next day! Don't overlook the pasta a d you will be fine. Try to get It to cook al dente

I kind of just improvised and combined a few recipes! Rotini pasta, diced cucumber, grape tomatoes, red onion, black olives, marinated fresh mozzarella balls, sweet red pepper from the jar cut up, salt, pepper, etc.
Then Wishbone Italian dressing, parm cheese, and some fresh basil from my garden.

If I make a pasta salad tonight...
I have found that adding in 2 jars of marinated artichoke hearts (in the oil and whatever else is in there) gives pasta salad such a delicious taste..
anyone ever done that? Sooooooooooo good.
I also sometimes make pasta salad with tri-color cheese tortellini. Amazing stuff.

I always love the taste of it the day after or after its marinated over night. The main thing is just to make sure your pasta is cooked just right and not close to mushy at all. Bon appetite!
