We have 2 and I would not have more. I don't know if people realize how hard it is to have children. Unless you are super lax and nothing bothers you, it's not easy when you have a bunch of kids whining and crying. Babies are cute, but those babies turn into kids who need discipline.

sooo true, I say not until you have 3 do you realize the chaos, 2 is still managable if you have a husband, but when you have 3, you;re outnumbered, 1 needs something to drink, the oter is whining and the baby needs to be breastfed, UGH, I remmeber the days wellChat Icon . Oh, and then the dog would throw up and the phone would ringChat Icon

ETA: 2 kids are still overwhelming, hell 1 kid is ALOT of work!!!

My life to a T. We are so outnumbered, they gang up on us. The worst is in the morning when I am alone with them. They all need everything at once and of course Im in my morning fog cursing myself that I didnt get the coffee pot ready to go the night before.

Re: If money was not a factor...

We are planning on 2 but if we end up w/2 of the same sex, then we are going for the 3rd. I know that is the most I could handle

Could I get back ten years of my life first? Chat Icon At almost 39, I don't think more than two would be realistic.

But if I was younger, I'd say probably four ...

same here...I am the 3rd of that 6 and growing up wasn't the most fun...now it's great most of the time (but still always some type of drama at ALL times)

Just think of when your sister or brother has an issue and multiply that by 6 and add the fact that all 6 of us are drama queens

Re: If money was not a factor...

2 would be ideal. 3 would be my absolute max, as in if second pregnancy was twins...but that would be the only way we'd end up with more than 2

I don't think we'll have more than 2-3 if money wasn't a factor. However, I would look into adopting up to 2 or 3 more children.

Re: If money was not a factor...

I always wanted four, then I had a baby so now Im saying tops 3. I love kids but they are alot of work and since Im a control freak I doubt I would get a nanny even if money wasnt an issue. Although I would def get a live in housekeeper.
