Down here in NC you don't even get that test with any doctor or insurance.
not true, I am in NC and it is definitely covered and offered by my OB...it is a standard test nowadays
None of the doctors that I've seen here do that test? They said it's not a requirement or even offered by my OB or a couple of others in the area? Now I'm confused??? I was just always told that the doctors don't do that here? Strange....
Strange, I am in Charlotte and while my OB does not do the test in their office (I have to go to the Women's Institute in the hospital), they offered it to me
where in NC are you?

I'm in the Raleigh/Durham area and with both kids I asked about it years apart and was told they don't do a test like that. That's the south for ya!

I was under 35 when I had my DS and had no issue with insurance covering it. It was never even brought up.

my insurance covered it and I didn't know that it optional. My OB said "schedule an appointment at the front desk for a 12 week sono." I didn't know any different. It was covered.

What type of testing? If it's a CVS test which is like an early Aminio then your insurance might not cover it.....usually a 12 week ultrascreen/sono is covered.
