If you buy meat at a butcher shop
will they cut/slice the meat a specific way if you ask?
I'm buying some flank for a recipe my family enjoys but it needs to be sliced somewhat thin.
Can I ask the butcher to slice it or do they not do this? I usually do it myself but need to same some time.
TIA!

Yes, they will slice it however you request it.

Yes, they will. Even in the supermarket you can order it the way you want it. I've done that. I just call first.

They will if you ask. Sometimes I'll tell them what I'm planning on making with the meat, and then they know exactly how to cut it.
