Re: If you carried something on your bouquet to remember a lost relative....
I was going to put a pearl in that belonged to my MIL. I ultimately didn't because we decided we would be too afraid of losing it amongst everything else going on that day.

Re: If you carried something on your bouquet to remember a lost relative....
I bought crystal butterflies for the intent to put in my bo-k for my grandmother and of course I couldn't find them closer to the wedding because I was so overwhelmed. They were beautiful and were really significant (if you new me IRL you would know why) But I found them right after the wedding (of course) they are now in my china cabinet.

we bought something for my SIL from Etsy. a bouquet charm frame. It was really beautiful. totally customizable.

I wish i had a pic, but I dont have one of the finished product.
it had a pic on one side of SIL and their dad when she was a little girl. and the other side said "I carry you with me...always."

Re: If you carried something on your bouquet to remember a lost relative....
I used my Mom's bridal bible in my Bouquet and her bridal handkerchief around my flowers. I am Jewish , so my DH wore my Father's Tallis. Also, My sister had my Mom's e- ring under the Chuppah on her hand for me. I took my throw away bouquet to the cemetary and left it at my Mom and Dad's gravesite I kind of pushed it into the bush, so it did not offend anyone- in Jewish cemetaries you are not supposed to leave flowers, but I was so upset, it made me feel better to do this. It was a emotional and hard day for me, but I felt comfort in doing what I did. I know they were looking down on me on my wedding day.

i suggest looking at stores that are starting to carry Christmas ornaments. That's what I used for my father's picture. BTW, the book I am holding is my mother's bridal bible (Old Testament). IMAGE
I use the same frame with both of my parents picture.
I have pictures of it in my album.

Re: If you carried something on your bouquet to remember a lost relative....
I had a pin that was given to my Mom from her Mom. Since both had passed away before I got married, I carried it on my bouquet for both.
