If you converted your crib to a full sized bed
Tell me what you did for rails. Did you buy the conversion kit for your crib? Buy other wood rails from another furniture store? Get metal rails and drilled them in?

I have converted two and both I have ordered the conversion kits, one I even had to order a different color since the manufacture didnt make the color I have anymore. I tell everyone if youre going to convert your crib buy the kit right away.

I was told by the salesman in Behrs that I should by the conversion kit when I bought the bed in case it got discontinued. I did and have had it stored under our bed for the time when we convert it.

The first time we didn't order the conversion kit bc we didn't think aboiut it and no one at Behr's told us to. we bought the rail guard from babies r us for the toddler bed. DH had to do some finnegaling, but he was able to make it work. tHen we just used the crib guards when we moved DS into a full size bed...and we bought a 2nd one to put on the other side of the bed. For DS #2 we bought the conversion kit.

DS just went into the big boy (full) bed w/o problem. However, they do sell rails that are pretty cheap that slide under the mattress. They were cheaper than the ones that come with crib

we just moved ds 17 months, almost 18 months to a full bed
we used the kit to make the crib into a full and then put up a guard rail on both sides. Ds loved it!
