I don't know... At this point, I couldn't imagine having any other name but mine. It is my identity. I remember when I was younger though, I was always changing around my name. I am going to save my favorite name choices for my kids.

Isnt it funny you always want the opposite of what you have?? I always hated how different my name was and wanted something different but more common at the same time
ETA: It got worse when I got older b/c I always seemed to date very Italian guys.. whose very Italian mothers could never say my name without butchering it!!! I have been called " Magazine" More times then I would like to admit!!!

My name is Donna and I couldn't find those personalized things either.
I like my name fine, it is so much a part of my identity I can't imagine changing it.

I used to HATE my name... No one had it and the ones who did spelled it different. My mom wanted to be different.. KRISTI
Now I like it, its different..
My original name was supposed to be Dawn but Dawn DeLace sounds like a porn start so they decided not!!!

I always LOVED the name Felicia, that was actually one of my childhood choices. I think it was because of Felicia from "General Hosipital". I always thought she was so pretty. Felicia, you are lucky to have a pretty unique name and it really suits you!!

Funny I had the most popular name and then they had mys sister and named her something noone had heard of at the time - Brianne. Now it is more popular (Brianna actually) but in 1979 it wasn't. She never could find her name on anything, everyone always mispronounced it, and kids teased her. She always wanted to change her name.
I love her name, the way my parents spelled it and pronounced it.

I would just change it from Jaclyn to Jacqueline. I think Jacqueline is so much prettier, but my mom thought it would be too hard for a little kid to spell. Whatever...everyone calls me Jackie or Jax anyhow!

I remember as a kid, I was begging my mom to name my sister (who is 10 years younger) Stephanie. I don't think it was enough of an irish name for my parents; they chose Kathleen and Eileen for both their daughters.

Flee - don't I know your pain - probably better than ANYONE on here!! EVERYONE thought I was a guy and was constantly mispelling my name and calling me Michael. It was, and still is, a pain in the you know what - even though I appreciate my name more now.
I would always "change" my name and tell my family that I would only answer to that. My two favorites were Abby and Jamie - guess that's why I had to marry a Jamie!
