I would just change it from Jaclyn to Jacqueline. I think Jacqueline is so much prettier, but my mom thought it would be too hard for a little kid to spell. Whatever...everyone calls me Jackie or Jax anyhow!
I always loved the name Jaqueline or Jaclyn..
I have a good friend whose parents spelled her name Jacquelyn (sort of a combo of the two) which I thought was very unique.. but she also goes by JAX ! When I first saw you posting on LIWs I for a second thought it was my friend Jax

Well I was named after Janis joplin, my dad picked it out, and my mother agreed to it, but wanted to spell it with the word nice in it so JaNICE
I don't hate it but I don't love it either. No one ever calls me Janice, just Jan. I think I can count on my hand how many times DH has said Janice.
If I could pick a name, it would be Bianca. I love the name and have never met a Bianca I did not like. But I can't name my kids that because DH said it will remind him of Bianca Jane Romjin Stamos....(Howard's dog)

My parents couldn't decide between Kim and Katie....those chose Kim...I wish they would have chosen Katie.
Also...it's not Kimberly...it's just Kim. My mother didn't want me to have to learn to spell Kimberly in kindergarden when they teach you to write your name...when nobody would call me Kimberly, they would shorten it to Kim anyway.

It's funny..my sister always called me Jacks, as did one of my friends. At some point in HS, a couple friends started spelling it Jax, and that one stuck, and has totally become my identity. I have so many friends who don't even call me Jackie, just Jax or Jaxie.

its different and not a common name...my father named me after Kate Jackson's character in Charlie's Angel...she was his favorite on the show but he wasn't into "Kate" so he took her character name...
the funny thing is whenever I tell someone my name (esp older people) they always ask if my parents were Audrey Hephburn fans??

I have always disliked my name. When I was like 3 I told everyone to just call me George instead
When I was in elementary school, I wanted to be named Heather.
I don't know what I'd change it to now, I think I've just given up on it.
