I just love her - I came close to meeting her - got to shake her hand at a concert but that was it.
She is the best.
I guess it sounds silly next to people like Jesus lol.

In HS, some newspaper was interviewing a couple of girls in my class, asking them who they thought the most influential person in history was. The first one said Hitler. The second one said Jesus.

I know this is off the topic and he isnt a historical figure but there is an uncle I have that passed a way before any of the grandchildren were born, including his son - I always thought it would be cool to meet him and know what he was like.

Absolute ditto on the Jane Austen. I'd also like to meet JFK and Bobby Kennedy (my obsession with that family knows no bounds).

Alot of people say Jesus but for me I'd have to say Mary
I'd ask how did she cope with all the disbelief people had when they found out about the Immaculate conception and to watch your son die
Also- did she really have any other kids?

Also really into WWII history, so I would love to talk to FDR, Churchill
