if you don't have a china cabinet what do you have in your dining room?
i am pretty traditional and have formal china and crystal that i thought i'd buy a china cabinet for when we move into our house. but the wall i want to put a china cabinet on has an air conditioner smack in the middle of it (why would anyone do this  ). we don't have the funds to move the AC or get central air just yet... so i'm considering a buffet or sideboard instead of a china cabinet. just thought i'd get some ideas. tia if you decide to share

We actually can't fit a china cabinet or anything else for that matter in our DH. We have a Hi-Ranch and all three rooms are open to each other, so we opted for glass cabinet doors for one set of upper cabinets, so I could put my china out.
