if you EBF your child (including pumping at work)
1. when did you stop?
2. when you stopped, did you do it gradually or cold-turkey?
i am hoping to EBF until DS is 6 months old (march 5th), and then gradually taper off. pumping at work is killing me, so my goal is to only BF in the morning and at night until he is a year old, or until i get PG again.

Re: if you EBF your child (including pumping at work)
my DS was EBF for 4 months, Months 5-6 he had 2 bottles of formula at day. Month 7-8 BF in AM, dinnerish time and bed time. Month 9 dropped the AM.
I started to pump less often at work I was pumping twice. I spread the time out in-between and then dropped one session. Then dropped the other session. I would have continued BF at night longer but my son weaned himself after he recovered from a cold. I know that’s not normal but that’s him.

I EBF for 7 months (i pumped at work for the last 4 months) - I stopped cold turkey b/c I had to go on medication. It was painful for a couple of days, but then it was fine.

I EBF at home. When I remember I make her oatmeal with cow's milk instead of water. In the last 6 weeks or so during the day she basically refuses to drink. She has maybe 2oz BM and maybe 2 oz water.

With DS i EBF and pumped until he was 6 months. With DD i plan to go until she is 7 or 8 months with EBF and then pump until like 11 months so she gets some BM.

Re: if you EBF your child (including pumping at work)
Can't really help since I haven't weaned Ryan yet.
But, my ultimate goal is to get to his 1st birthday. At that time I will start dropping 1 feeding every week. The last session to go will be before bed at night.

Re: if you EBF your child (including pumping at work)
I stopped a few days before DS turned 13 months. At around 11 months, I started to wean him. I took away 1 feeding a month pretty much and replaced it with whole milk in a sippy cup.
