If you ever thought of trying Stroller Strides...
this is the class to try! I go to it a few times each week (the one in the Broadway Mall/Cedar Creek Park-warm weather) and LOVE IT! It is a serious workout and the other Moms are truly nice and friendly. We often meet up after class at the playground area for the babies and toddlers to play.
Next Wednesday (1/7) is Exercisepalooza from 10-11am at the Broadway Mall. Besides the regular parts of the workout we are including Music, Stroller Strides Fly Girls (HA!), Strumba (Stroller Strides and Zumba). Zumba sounds like so much fun and I would never have gotten to try it if it wasn't during class (I can't find time to go to the gym/workout but since I do Stroller Strides with DD, I can). I think there is going to be some sort of demo from M.A.T.S.S. kids gym afterwards too!
The first class is FREE and I think there may be some membership discounts if you sign up that day. Also, if you do, mention me (Julianne) b/c you may get $10 off your first month of membership if you do!
I hope some of you check it out...I have a blast doing it and think others will too. This class should be extra special and I thought I would share this info. IMO, it can't hurt to try it! Alright, this post is long enough...

Bumping to let you know if you plan to come:
Please head straight to the Christmas tree area (which shouldn't be there anymore) outside Starbucks on Wednesday for Exercisepalooza! Registration begins at 9:30am (especially for first timers), for Exercisepalooza to start at 10am.

great! I hope you do b/c it is so much fun and I love that my pants just get baggier! Everyone is so nice that I've become so friendly with some of the others that we are doing Gymboree with 4 other Mom/Babies this semester. If you mention me (Julianne) and decide to sign up I think you will get $ off your registration.

oh yeah, forgot to mention...if you come bring a bottle of water and a yoga mat or towel for floor exercises (abs, core).

my sisters friend does the park one.. she loved it and said it got her back into shape.. I wanted to do but dh said to wait on it. Do any moms doing have more than 1 baby with them?

not sure but our group is great...first in the nation to combine stroller strides and zumba (part of why this event is a big deal) and a great group of people! if you aren't too far out into suffolk you might want to try it anyway...i know in the warm weather we have Moms coming from Babylon and Baldwin to join us!

oh yeah, there are many Moms with two kids, some with twins, some preggos doing it too (even one pregnant and has twin toddlers)...two of our "fly girls" for tomorrow are preggo...one due later this month (in like 3 weeks) and the other due in april. hope you join us when your LO arrives!

FYI, just got this email if anyone is coming!
The weather outside is frightful, but Stroller Strides is so delightful!!
For tomorrow's Exercisepalooza, if it's raining,
you can park in the covered parking garage next to IKEA, then enter the mall next to IKEA.
Class will be right there in the rotunda, when you enter through that entrance.
