If you get highlights I have a question!
How much do you pay for a half head of highlights, a glaze, haircut and blowout? I’ve been going to the same salon for years and I just walked out paying $195 -+ 20% tip. I love the way my hair looks but I feel like I was paying maybe $125 a year ago for the same service. I like this salon but I don’t think I can afford to keep going back. I didn’t question it when I paid but I got home and was kind of taken back. Should I call back to inquire? Ugh.

I recently got a partial highlight, plus lowlights, a glaze, and a haircut with blowout and she charged me $120.
She does it out of her house though.
I stopped going to salons for that reason.
Too expensive

At the salon I go, prices fluctuate depending on the seniority/experience of the stylists. The prices for the 2 women I go to for color and cut have gone up a little bit since I started going there.

That seems a little high depending on who you saw to cut your hair. I used to get color, highlights, glaze, haircut and blowout with the owner and that was easily around $200.
I've since dropped the highlights bc with the glaze, I didn't really need them. Now I pay about $120 with the owner. I had the same services done with another hair dresser at the same salon bc my girl was booked and it was cheaper, around $90, bc she wasn't the owner.

I actually don’t think this is atypical at high end salons. I don’t color my hair but that sounds about right based on the prices at my salon and what friends pay.

I pay $220 and I’ve asked around and that is what most of my friends are paying some even higher.

I am in NJ for dye, glaze, cut, blow out it is $155 +20% tip and I thought that was a lot.

And she does my color better than any of those "high end" rip off salons I've been to.
I used to pay double and leave unhappy ever single time

Every 8 months I get 1/2 head of highlights, glaze cut and blowout and I pay $150 plus 20% tip.

If you get highlights I have a question!
I do balayage (so highlights/low lights) - that's around $60-$75 .... when I just do my roots it's $60 ... for a cut and blowout it's $60.
I only have to touch up the color about twice a year which isn't bad but I do my roots every 8ish weeks. So I usually end up spending roughly $120 plus tip
