If you had $300 to spend in Buy Buy Baby...

... and have an almost 1 year old, what would you get?

I have some gift cards that I never used and we are going to return a car seat that we were told went rear facing, but doesn't. Chat Icon I can't find the receipt so iI am assuming we'll get a store credit and our grand total should be around $300 combined.

They don't sell the Learning Home which I really wanted to get her for her 1st birthday... they only have the learning farm which doesn't look as cool (I emailed BBBaby to see why).

I have a bunch of 20% off coupons, which don't work online, and since it's not that close by when we do go this weekend I want to spend it all.

So far, I can think of:

-top of stairs gate
-new diaper bag (need!) - maybe the skip hop studio
-diapers
-wipes

Anything I'm not thinking of now that she's almost a "toddler"? Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm guessing you already bought another car seat. Does it turn into a booster seat for when she is a little older?

If it were me, I'd buy another car seat because we need to buy one more...

If they didn't have what I wanted, probably safety stuff, and then some diapers, and wait until some winter stuff came out

The FP Farm is actually pretty cool, my DS LOVES it! The Home is a TRU exclusive. I would get some toys, mabe a ride-on toy, books, some summer stuff, skin products (sunscreen, mustela)

It's hard. I usually realize what i need when i get there and then wind up thinking i need a million things! I'm sure you will easily spend the 300 quickly.

I haven't been there in awhile, but if I remember correctly, they had a good selection of seasonal toys. Maybe a ride-on toy for her b-day. DS loved his car that he sat in and we pushed him around.

It's the Graco Nautilus... it's a great seat but I feel like it'll be a few years by the time we need to use it. And yes we already got another car seat at costco.

sippy cups, feeding supplies (spoons, forks, bowls), a gate, etc.

But I'd definitely wait until after her birthday to go!

cabinet locks, a cozy coupe car!

Didn't know the home was TRU exclusive... I saw it on walmart, amazon, etc so I thought maybe just BBBaby didn't carry it for some reason. Maybe i'll look into the farm when we go, thanks!

I wouldn't waste money there on diapers and wipes because they're so much cheaper else where. I was there today and they have so much awesome stuff!

I would get clearance summer stuff for next year, feeding supplies, the diaper bag for sure, maybe some books, and a toy or 2.

Sydnie really likes tea parties now and also musical instrument toys.

I'd buy a bunch of safetly locks for the kitchen and bathroom cabinets and a XL play yard (but I saw that you have that already in Sienna's ponytail pic!)

I'd also buy some fun stuff too:

Re: If you had $300 to spend in Buy Buy Baby...

Thank you!!!! I guess I could get some clothes (we live in FL so I'm not sure if summer stuff will be on clearance).

Erin - those toys look awesome but we don't have a backyard (just a large balcony) and our house just isn't big enough for most of that stuff. I love the wagon though, she would LOVE that and we could keep it in the garage.

Re: If you had $300 to spend in Buy Buy Baby...

First, I'd get a babysitter and a large Coffee from Starbucks and settle in for a nice long SHOP..Chat Icon Chat Icon

Then, I'd probably (as a few have already suggested), I stock up on sippy cups, plate/bowl/utensil sets, a new diaper bag, some books/movies, maybe a few new toys.

They also had a wagon with a canopy on it, which might be good to shield her from the hot FL sun.

I love spending other peoples' money! Chat Icon
