Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I just wore hospital gowm. I left the hospital on day two, and wore light pj pants with no problem.

I wore pajama pants... I just had to pull them down when my incision was checked... I don't think it was ever checked more than 2-3 times a day. No biggie!

I HATED my nursing nightgown. I liked wearing pants with a tank top and zip up hoodie much better

I had a c-section but did not nurse. I am also plus size so I wore pjs and I loved it. Will be doing it again this time with #2.

I wore the hospital nightgown for the first day. The second day I wore a loose fitting nursing night gown. Then on the last day I wore very loose fitting capri type yoga pants and a t-shirt.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I stayed in the gown...not Only b/c of the constant checking of my insiscion , but b/c I had pretty bad swelling in my legs, so they had cuffs on my legs to help with the circulation.

I had oversized shorts but never used them - was very comfy in a big nightshirt. I never even used my motherhood maternity set

I wore the hospital gown for the first 2-3 days. Then I put on my own pajama set.

Def a hospital gown. A friend of mine told me to not even bother with my own pjs and I am so happy I listened. With breast feeding , them checking the incision often and bleeding, it was best to wear a hospital gown. Just ask for a new one every day or every time you want a new one.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I had a C-Section and I was in the hospital gown for the first 24 hours... Then they got me up to take a shower and I was in loose pajama pants for the rest of my hospital stay. The day after the c-section they make you get up to walk, and you won't want to, but it definitely helps! I felt more comfortable walking in the hallways with pants especially because it was the beginning of January and it was chilly. Get some loose pajama pants as you will have several weeks at home where you will not want to be in anything tight fitting with your incision.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I wore something like this (from Motherhood) But mine was black and I got it from Target. It wasn't a nursing gown but it had the same top. I wore this with a robe when visitors came. When there were no visitors I just wore the hospital gown. I had a painful recovery and was super bloody I didn't wear pants until the day we came home and even then it was painful.

Same here. I just had comfy sweats with a soft band. I actually didn't even wear the grannie panties, the bikini ones went above the incision site and were much more comfy for me. I wore a nursing tank top that I had brought with me which was much easier then the hospital gown.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I had a c-section and nursed. I stayed in the hospital gown the first day and then switched to yoga pants the next days. It wasn't an issue because they were able to fold the front down for the incision check.

I was in the hospital gown the first day but then after I was able to get up and put pj's on, I wore nursing pj's from Motherhood. They were pants.
It wasn't too big a pain, because I actually just had to pull them down a bit for them to check the incision. I knew I wouldn't be comfortable in a nightgown since that is never what I wear.
Same here!

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I was in a regular ribbed cotton nightgown with easily removable straps (from the gap).
I'm not sure I would have been comfortable with pants (nervous and painful)
The doctor checked my incision once a morning, that was it. No other checking went on.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I wore the hospital gown the first 2 days. I couldnt get out of bed anyway bc I had so much crap hooked up. By the third morning I was up walking around so then I was able to wear pants bc i wasnt in so much pain.
eta - they came and rinsed me off down there once a day for the first 2 days also, so it was def easier to be wearing a gown. Like I said above once i was able to walk around I could finally shower so they didnt need to rinse me

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I did not know that I would be having a c-section when I went to deliver. I had packed PJ pants with an elastic waist band - I bought a large so that it would fit.
It turned out fine. They only came once a day to check my incision.

I stayed in a hospital gown, despite my lovely purchases that everyone told me I had to have for the hospital.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I had a c-section and I breast fed both children. With DD I was in the hospital gown for 2 days. With DS I stayed in the gown for the first day and then I wore a pj set. The pants should go above your waistband because the incision is pretty low. Your underwear is more likely to bother you than your pants.
I am close to plus size and I wore these. They were Sooooo comfortable and so many people in the hospital complimented me on them.

Re: If you had a c-section, can you please answer a ? for me
I had a c-section and I wore a drawstring pants pj set as soon as I was able to get up from the bed. I definitely was glad to be wearing it. It was actually very convenient for me when the doctors had to check the incision because i just had to lower my pants a little without having to raise a gown. The drawstring allowed me to make it as loose or tight as I wanted. I also brought my own robe so that I could wear that also when i would walk around the hospital.

I wore the hospital gown the first day. Then I wore my regular nightgown. I also had a drainage thing in which didnt get removed until the day I was leaving so I had to wear nightgowns.
