If you had a cesction - what did you wear home from hospital?
What kind of stretchy pants? Or did you wear a dress? What kind, cotton?

yoga pants. THe incision is soooooo low that even low rise pants will be way above it.

I got maternity leggings from target. Over the belly so it did't irritate my incision. A comfy cotton shirt that was long and I wore the robe that came with the nightgown I wore from motherhood maternity mostly because I had the bulky pads on and didn't want it to show

sweat pants and a sweat shirt for both on my kids. first was not a csections second wasn't supposed to be but ended up in one. didn't bother my incision and didn't even occur to me it would.

Maternity sweats or yoga pants. Nursing tank and hoodie. Same thing I wore from day 2 on.

I wore my maternity leggings, they were the ONLY thing I wore for about 5 weeks, hahahahaha. And make sure to get s ton extra of the disposable undies, those things were amazing right after.

Any particular brand of yoga pants? I assume I am going to need a larger size then pre pregnancy and Id rather not get maternity yoga pants..

Do you have a pair of comfy pants you are wearing now??? I would just wear them. Pants shouldn't bother your incision if they are comfy type pants. The incision is super low so no waist band will come close to it.
No need to run out and buy. Just look for soemthing comfy in your wardrobe now.

Sweat pants and a comfy top. It will be difficult to get in and out of the car and up porch stairs, so you will want to be as comfy as possible. Oh, and undies that are high-waisted.

I must be the minority must I found yoga pants to really irritate my incision. I wore velour sweats. I couldn't wear yogas for about a week. Maybe BC I have such a small torso...? I don't know but I did not find the tightness of yogas comfortable even if the elastic / fold was high. I'd bring a pair of yogas and a pair of sweats.

I agree - I put on leggings 3 weeks after my operation, and the tightness rubbed against my incision and I bled bright red blood. I had to rush to the doctors office. Everything was ok, but that tightness definitely irritated it.
