If you had a failed FET and went to a fresh IVF cycle...

How long did you have to wait before starting a fresh cycle? I have a feeling this second FET failed and will most likely have to start over again with a fresh IVF cycle. Just wondering how long you have to wait before starting a new IVF cycle and what was involved. TIA

I don't think you have to wait, but I'm not 100% sure.

Did you test on an FRER this morning?

My first fresh cycle, failed and we immediately started this FET. I was given the option to jump right into another fresh one, but we opted to try a FET first. GL!

I always waited one whole cycle.

We waited a cycle. But went on BCP and so we should be able to start the cycle a little earlier. MY BFN was 10/15, I take my last pill tomorrow and should hopefully get AF this we.

Tested this AM with a digital and BFN. Definitely think I'm out this month Not taking this well at all.

I know my doctor said I needed to wait a bit, but just not sure how long. I am sort of under time constraints. My sister is getting married next October and I can't be PG anywhere in that time frame which really makes this even more frustrating that I might have to take a break even though I don't want to

I was able to go right from failed fresh to FET. My RE originally wanted me to wait a whole period cycle but decided to start right away once he gave me a sono and saw no cysts and my ovaries look normal again. I would speak with your RE and see if you can start now.

I think I need to clarify

I just went through two FET cycles with no luck, and have only one more frozen embryo. I am contemplating going straight to a fresh IVF cycle since I just had two failed FETs where I implanted two each time.

How long do you have to wait after a failed FET cycle to start from scratch with a new fresh cycle?

This is kind of off topic, by why can't you be pregnant during the entire time of your sister's wedding? I don't know the circumstances, but I personally wouldn't let anything (other than medical reasons) hold me back from TTC.

After failed FET with no pregnancy, I had AF then went on BCP for three weeks.

IF pregnancy, normally, I wait a cycle then start BCP.

Oh I can definitely be pregnant for my sister's wedding, but since I went three weeks early with DD and will most likely have a c-section next time, I do not want to be due anywhere NEAR her wedding date (within that month) because I wouldn't want to miss the wedding and I am MOH.

So after your BFN on 10/15, when did you get AF? And when did you start BCP? I'm assuming you've been on BCP for about three weeks and once you get a bleed you can start your meds for your fresh cycle, right? How long is a retrieval after that? It's been over three years so I can't remember much

I stopped meds on 10/16 and then got AF on 10/19, went on BCP on the 22nd and just finished my last pill today- so about 2 1/2 weeks of the pill. I started lupron last week, and I should get my period this weekend and hope to start stims on 11/14. I'll stim for about 10-12 days and then am hoping for retrieval the frid/sat after thanksgiving.

If you get a BFN call your doc and see if he wants to do a month off- then he should put you on the pill after your AF starts. Hoping its not a BFN though!!!

One thing to note- does your RE have blackout months? Mine won't start a cycle in December, so just check with them on that. If that's the case for your RE, I would push to go right into a fresh cycle.
