If you had to quit the bottle cold turkey....
which sippy cup worked best for you? I am thinking of dropping the bottle cold turkey this weekend. DS really hasn't taken to any of the sippy cups I have bought so far. Any recommendations? I was thinking a clear one would be best, since he could see the milk in it and know what it is I am trying to give him.
Tips for doing this would be helpful too. should I just keep offering the same cup, or should I try different ones if he won't take the first one I offer? I don't want to confuse him, so I figured I should just try and stick with one. I think he CAN suck out of the sippy, he just chooses not to.

The Gerber cups worked best for us and they're still my favorites. I feel like they're one of the only non drip cups that actually do not leak.

I started with a sippy that was kind of bottle shaped and had a clear bendable straw top..they drink out of it like a bottle (have to tilt it backwards) but he loved it. We then used only straw sippies during the day. We also quit the nighttime bottle cold turkey, we should have done it sooner (he was 19 months!)

We have these ones and DS loves them. they were the first ones he learned on and still likes them. We use all gerber types, both clear and not and he seems to do best with them.
ETA: I also like that they have the removable valve so at first I took that out so DS could get the hang of getting his drink out of the cup, then I put it back in once he had the hang of it. We are still on the bottle but my ped suggested taking out the valve with milk so it flows quicker and they dont have to work as hard.

The Nubby worked best for us. While he has never been picky about sippies and always drank out of whatever one I gave him, I started with the Nubby because it seemed the most like a bottle nipple to me. It's clear and soft/squishy just like a regular nipple.
