I am 5'3 1/2", DH is 6'3".
DS was born at 9 lbs and 22 inches.
At 3 months he was off the charts (over 100 percentile) for both height and weight - 26 inches and 16 lbs 13oz.
DH and I were both big babies.

DH is 6'4" and I'm 5'0" our DD was 5lbs 14 oz (3 weeks early)
I carried low and looked like a house too...don't be too worried

my husband is 6'4 and i am 5'4 and our dauaghter was in the 98% for both height and weight at 9.13 pounds and 21 inches.

My DH is 6'4 and I'm 5'8. He was over 9lbs at birth and I was about 8lbs.
DD was 8lbs 4oz
DS was 8lbs 5oz

My dh is 6'1 (I'm 5'5 and a half)
and Jared has always been big. Whenever we brought him to the pediatrician, he would be in the 95-99th percentile. Even in his pre-school class, he's the tallest kid.

Is your DC also bigger than the average baby at birth?
I'm scared to death 'cus DH is more than a feet taller than me at 6'1 and near the end of 6 months I already look like I'm 8 months! :P
My husband plays defensive tackle for his football team, He's pretty sturdy. His sisters are very tall as well. I am genetically large (surgically slim). My family is from big stock as well.
HOWEVER, he was NOT huge at birth (Low 7 pound range). All of my mother's babies were over 8 pounds with ME being the biggest at 9 pounds and 8 ounces. Abby was 6 pounds and 3 ounces - more like my DH's family.
I was told that the birthweight of the father is more likely to be close to the birthweight of the child. My father was almost an 11 pounder and again, we were all huge. G-d bless Grandma - she was 4 ft 11 and popped him out like a champ.

My husband is almost 6'6" and since the day my son was born, he has been in the 75-90 percentile for everything. When he was born he was 9lbs 13oz and 21in. At his last check-up in July, he was 18lbs 5oz and 27.5in. He's gonna be a football player!

DH is 6'3" and I'm 5'8". DH was almost 9 pounds at birth. I was 7 pounds 5 ounces and DD was 7 pounds 14 ounces.

NOPE!! My 3yr old son has been underwieght/height since he's been born. He was born at 6lb 11oz 20in. He is now 3 and about 30lbs 37 inches. He is finally catching up to be about 25-50%ile. He is in 2T clothes!
#2 was just born at 7lb 12oz and 19 in. He seems to be growing fast so I think he will outgrow #1 pretty quickly.
ETA: DH is 6ft and I'm 5ft3
