If you have sold clothes, do you let the people try the clothes on before they buy it? Do people usually want to try them on? Do you let them in your house to do that or do they just buy it ?

I have tons of good work clothes that don't fit anymore and Before I donate them I would like to see if anyone wants to buy them but I'm not letting someone into my house to try it on.

I'm just wondering how this usually works

No trying on. I have sold a bunch of kids clothes cheap- like ten pairs of jeans for 10 dollars type sales, so I'm not dealing with people wanting to inspect the stuff. I sold my maternity stuff on ebay, so same thing, no try ons. If you are selling a single costly item or very expensive items in general, I wouldn't be surprised if someone wanted to try.

I've sold some kids clothes but no one asked to try them on. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a stranger using my house to try on clothes for themselves though.

If I were selling a wedding dress for a couple hundred dollars, I could see the buyer asking to try it on and that would be OK with me. For clothes I am selling in a lot for $1 a piece, no.
