Alexandra - my husband's father's name was Alexander. He died when my hubby was 13. Her last name is a combination of my last name and hubby's last name.

My son's name is Caiden. I'm embarrassed on how I came up with it, because I HATE my DH's XBOX, but it was one of the characters name on a role playing game he was playing. Only on the game it was spelled Kadin. I looked for ever and in numberous books with thousands of names and couldn't find anything, but then saw this name in a game and loved it. Go figure!

Elijah-I wanted soemthing different and watched the movie the good son 500 times while pregnant with him and after seeing Elijah Wood in the credits I decided i liked it!
Troy- my ex husband loved the dallas cowboys (troy aikman)
Paige- I just thought it was pretty and not too popular
Maya- (it was a toss uo between maya and mia) ---agian i thought it was a beautiful name

Katherine Emer.
Katherine because I've always thought it was a very classy, elegant name and I also like the nicknames Kate or Katie. My name (Erin) is also in the middle of it.
Emer is a very Irish name that is rarely used in the US and we got A LOT of grief over it. I wanted something unusual and Irish. DH picked it ironically, because he is 100% Italian. Also, if anyone's read 'Tis by Frank McCourt, Emer was the name of his girlfriend.

My son's name is Justin Anthony
My DH wanted the name Rocco. We have an Italian last name and I just didn't like the name. I think he was kidding and just wanted to be a little stinker.
I like the name Justin and he kind of agreed. I wanted Justin Ryan so I could call him JR
My husband didn't like the name Ryan.
One day after he came home after getting his hair cut he said "How about Justin Anthony"
I loved it! I am glad he came up with it because I like it better than Justin Ryan.

My DD's name is Julia my DH loved the nickname Jules.
Her middle name is Shea, cause we are big Mets fans!!
OMG that is so cool! I don't think my husband would all me to do that since he is a Yankee fan.

well her name is Alia Isabella.
dh actually picked them both.
Alia is persian and it means strenght.
Isabella because his mom's name is Isabel.
Isabel is my middle name and my Grandmothers. I guess I should try to pass it along when I have kids.

Isabella Grace is my daughter's name...
I have loved the name Isabella since I was 15 when it was like 800 on the list (now it is #7!)
I didn't care how popular it is now...
and Grace, well I would have loved that as a first name too, but I compromised with DH...
We have had our names picked out since we started dating...
Isabella Grace (duh!)
Gavin Anthony--DH loved Gavin and it really grew on me even though my Dad doesn't think it's manly enough...and Anthony is after my Dad's cousin that died when he was 7...

Amber Lorraine, almost two
Husband liked it because it reminded him of American Pie 2 but he wanted to name her Amber Lynn. I was like "NO way are you naming my child after a porn star!" So we agreed on Amber for the first name, Lorraine after his deceased sister.
Her name fit since her hair is the color of Amber

Sean Michael - We needed an "S" name to honor DH's late father and Michael is my late brother.
Kevin Mattingly - Kevin was a name we considered throughout the pg, but didn't totally agree on until a few hours before he was born. Mattingly... well, DH the diehard Yankees fan, won that argument.

Kayleigh Elizabeth......................DH saw the name Kayleigh in the paper when I was 2 months pregnant and wouldnt even discuss another name after that and Elizabeth id DH's moms name

I always liked the name Emma - Even before Friends.
Catherine - No real meaning behind it - Just liked the way it sounded.
She was going to be Emma Bean - I just couldn't do it - So that's what we call her at home.

Well, she's not here yet, but her name will be Ava. Her middle name will be my maiden name. I don't know how we chose it, I just know we loved it. And my one condition to changing my last name after marriage was that all of our children use my maiden name as their middle name.

Damien because we both loved it. I know peope think it means "the Devil" but it actually means sweet and harmless
Richard is after my father.

We're going with:
JILL (just Jill...not Jillian/Gillian and no middle name at the moment)
We wanted something athletic sounding, but we also wanted a name that wasn't trendy/popular (Jill didn't even make the top 1000 list...perfect!)

Jordan Patrick - I just LOVED the name Jordan and Patrick is the middle name of my father and my brother who died when he was 17..
Mallory Christine - we just LOVED the name Mallory and my DH's name is Christopher, he was supposed to be Christine if he was a girl...so....
