If you have dark (olive) complexion & have (naturaly) very dark brown/black hair and get your hair highlighted
what color do you do?

I have olive skin, naturally black hair, blonde highlights. They lightened my hair so it's not blonde on black but more blonde on brown.

what about your brows , did you do anything? I was thinking caramel highlights , but very subtle .

I have dark brown hair with olive skin, and I do caramel highlights... I just started doing them a couple of months ago, and I'm very happy! I really like the way it looks.
And I don't do anything with my brows. My hair isn't THAT drastic...

that's what I want too , very subtle look. nothing drastic, if possible, but I have jet black hair and black eyebrows and they are on a thick side, so I don't know how it's going to work....

My brows are black but I have bangs so I guess they aren't as noticeable.

My natural hair color is medium brown and I have olive skin. I tend to like the auburn highlights on me more than the caramel.

I have olive skin and medium brown hair, and I have to say I have not had a ton of success with highlights. One time I had caramel and that was the best of the ones I've tried, but I think I am staying away from highlights from now on. I find they wash me out.

Depends how you put the highlights in. Something like this works really nice with olive skin tones, you can make the highlights more auburn or caramel than this.
Ombre Hair
I usually look terrible in anything but dark hair, but I had this way with the highlights sort of hiding, it looked amazing! I loved it! and just have to add it was really easy upkeep.

I am olive with dark brown hair....I do caramel or more often blonde..I do nothing to my eyebrows ever but they are not especially dark or thick..

Thank you everyone.
I am still trying to decide what to do.... It's a very difficult decision for me , bc I never colored my hair before. On one hand I I LOVE my hair, love my natural color and how healthy it is ,well not as healthy as before I had my DD , but still.... On the other hand I feel like I'm ready for change (and I think I need it) but it's just so hard to make a decision and go with it... Plus my friends and family telling me "you'll regret it" , "ruin your hair", "don't do it" .... NOT helping, lol.

I know it isn't what you want to hear, but you have gorgeous hair and I don't think you should color it. I would change up the cut and maybe to side swept bangs.

ditto for me. I'm always disappointed with highlights so I end up going darker usually with an auburn. for some reason with highlights they always wash me out and tend to look brassy or orange
