If you have gas/forced hot air heat
Do you have a humidifier in DC's room?
I notice that my skin/lips, etc are very dry in the winter (I think from the heat in my new house) and I'm wondering if I should put a humidifier in DD's room to keep her more comfortable.

Yup! It seems to help with the nasal congestion.

Re: If you have gas/forced hot air heat
yes. my husband runs an HVAC biz and he will tell you this is a must in the winter. we have one in DS and our room, but a whole house humidifer is even better...you'd think he'd have installed one for us by now...oh well!

We have one built in to the heating system. No complaints here with it.

Same here- for dry croupy coughs it can be (literally) a lifesaver.

I just got the Sesame Street one from BRU. I know I probably overspent, but it will be a Christmas present for her. For us, I just went to Target and got a cool mist humidifier. Actually, I got a deal on ones that come 2 to a box -- so I have an extra for the spare room when people come over.
