If you have glass door cabinets in the kitchen...

....what do you keep in them?

We just replaced our cabinets and the one above the sink has glass doors. We're not moved back into the kitchen yet, so I'm trying to mentally figure out where everything will go. I'm worried about what to keep in a cabinet that will be visible at all times!

Ideas?

wone glasses, nice serving pieces... or you can do what my mom did... she had a nice piece of stained glass made for it so you could not really see through it!

I have wine glasses I got as gifts. THe hand painted ones you really never use, but only for show
some cool looking bottles. For instance we got personalized little wine bottles for our wedding and display that, fun salt and pepper shakers we got as gifts and never use, small vases, etc

We have everything we normally would if the cabinets weren't glass. Bowls & plates in one and glasses & mugs in the other. The one above the microwave we have bigger stuff that we hardly use.

Here's a pic

We have our nicer glasses and some glass bowls in there.

We installed a light at the top of the cabinet and had glass shelves made to allow the light through.

Not that you asked but just in case it is something you were interested in doing this is the place we used. The shelves were about $20 each.

Our regular dishware and glasses. All my fancy wine glasses, flutes and cordial glasses are in the basement.

just our everyday basic dishes and glasses... nothing fancy. they are kept pretty neat and there is not "odds and ends" in there... but nothing specifically for "display"

We have 2 cabinets with glass doors that are on the opposite side of our kitchen than the cooking part.

we keep two sets of our china displayed there, a few champagne flutes we have, some nice martini and cordial glasses, and a pretty glass plate

i've had frosted glass windows on previous cabinets and just kept regular items in there since the kitchen was so small.
