if you have/had placenta previa UPDATE with a new question
did it go away? what week was it diagnosed and when did it go away? did they do extra sonos?
they found it today at 12w3d and my next appt is 16 weeks. TIA
UPDATE also, did you bleed often?

With my first pregnancy, they said I had placenta previa at 12 weeks. At 19 weeks, I had only partial placenta previa. I had one extra sono at 28 weeks and it was completely cleared. I had no issues at all related to it the entire pregnancy (no symptoms, no bleeding, no pelvic or bedrest, etc.). It just cleared up on its own entirely.

I had partial placenta previa that was diagnosed at 20 weeks....at 26 weeks it had moved up with the uterus as the baby got bigger. I was on pelvic rest until it moved.

I had it on and off until about 24 weeks when it lifted completely and my dr. said at that point it wouldn't get any lower so I was cleared of it altogether.

I was told at 13w4d, im 21 wks and as of yesterday its still there...pelvic. rest from the get go, but no other complications

i was told at 12 weeks. but on pelvic rest at 20 weeks. It was gone by about 26/27 weeks, I think.
My friend had it as well and followed a similar path.

I had bleeding on and off just in the 8th week from it and thats when they diagnosed it. It was gone by 12 weeks. I always go every 2 weeks so I'm not sure if they normally check more often.

i had a little bleeding at 16 weeks and went to the hospital to get checked out. They said it was a placenta previa. At my 20 week sono, it went away.
I did not have any bleeding other than that one time, nor did i need any extra sonos.
