If you have in ground sprinklers
What time of day do they go off? Just trying to figure out when would be best.

I think we have the time set to start at 5 am. They are off by the time I leave for work in the morning.

ours start at 3am or so and have a 2 hour cycle. It's good for us b/c it doesn't interfere w/ showering and such.

Ours go off at 5am. My dad told me it is not good to run them when the sun is up and out, like mid-day because the water on the grass will actually burn it. I run early!

we run ours in the morning and night. Am it goes off around 8:00 after we have both left for the morning and pm it goes off at like 5 so we get home as it is going off!

I was told this too. If you water it in during the night the grass will grow fungus and if you water it in the middle of the day the grass will burn.

ours start at 4:30 am. We have 7 zones & the whole property only takes a little over an hour. Two hours of watering is alot especially with how much rain we've had. I over-ride ours all the time depending on how much it has rained.
I'd rather be a bit more conservative with the water.

ours starts at 2:30 and end by 4:50-4:45am...so not to interfer with our showers...at 5am!!

they should go off early in the morning 5-7am. We have water resitrcitions here so we are only allowed to water from 5am-10am.

Thanks everyone! Ours are going off at 3am (I think) and my neighbor told me that's a weird time so then I started to second guess our landscaper.
