If you invited DC's whole class to bday party

How many declined? DD is in kindergarten and there are 18 in her class. She has only been invited to 4 parties this year. She made it to 2 of them. What should I expect? The place she wants her party can only have 9 (plus the family & friends from out of school).

Should I look for someplace else, or should I expect 50% not to come?

We had 8 classmates come. With DS, it was a total of 9 kids from a class of 15. 3 kids RSVPd no and 3 people did not RSVP at all.

I wanted to note that 4 classmates RSVPd within 2 days before the party!

We've attended 3 other classmate parties and there were 6 classmates total at each party.

Re: If you invited DC's whole class to bday party

My son is in kindergarten and his class has 20 children. I invited the whole class and 7 declined.

I did send emails to a few people who had not rsvp'd. One person never responded at all.

We've been to three other parties where the entire class was invited and it's usually about the same amount who attend.

Ive been to a few parties and I have to say about 2/3rds of the class show up. We have never received a follow up to the RSVP date. They send invites in the mail and even tho there *IS* an RSVP its generally "glad you can make it" type thing.
