If you live in the Sayville area
How busy of a road is Broadway Ave JUST north of Main Street? I know Broadway is a busy road north of sunrise but I've never been south of sunrise before. How busy is it?

If you live in the Sayville area
Still a double yellow, it a pretty main way to get from montauk hwy to sunrise. I don't think it is as busy as Lakeland/Railroad avenue. But on Mainstreet and Broadway is Blackbirds Grille that can get pretty crowded and the Grange is also right there, they have a farmers Market on Saturdays and festivals every so often. There are also sports fields over there. I know Versa gets crowded I don't know about Broadway itself.

I live very close by and my FIL lives right there.
It's pretty busy....not as busy as the area north of sunrise, but still, it's the main way we get into the town of sayville, so it's a pretty main road.
Plus the sports fields over there, the restaurant.... etc

As previous posters said ... Double yellow and now that targets over there I think more traffic ... Also ball fields, festivals etc....
Love Sayville lived here for decades but I stayed away from that block too when house hunting
