If you lost your mucous plug, how long after did you go into labor?
I'm pretty sure I lost or am losing my mucous plug now. I'm 38 weeks pregnant.
Should I expect to go into labor like in a day, a week?

With DS I had a scheduled c-section so I did not go into labor but I lost my mucus plug at 38 weeks and made it a full week until my sceduled c-section at 39 weeks. Its anybody's guess.
This of course was after having pre-term labor at 26 weeks and being on bedrest for 8 weeks.

I lost my mucus plug WHILE I was in labor. I delivered about 6 hours after I lost it.

i lost mine in pieces, starting on a Monday. Labor began 3 days later and DS was born Friday morning.

I lost it and about 2 minutes later my water broke

My water broke, it came out and 8 hours later I had my DD!
Up until that point I had "some" brownish/bloody/pinkish leaks (for like 2 days)

I lost a small piece on 1/9 (just looked up my old posts for the exact date ) but then no more until I was actually in labor on the 21st. I was contracting all day, and was losing my mucous plug in pieces throughout the day. I gave birth at 11 that night.
